Peko-chan goes grocery shopping - March 22nd 2020

On Saturday March 22nd 2020, Peko-chan's host was kindly offered a ride to the grocery store by a colleague and neighbour, and Peko tagged along.



The empty toilet paper aisle. As was the case in several other countries, people freaked out and went a bit crazy stocking up on toilet paper, emptying grocery stores and drugstores everywhere...






A nice display of Canadian craft beers. Peko-chan thought that the labels were so beautiful, they made one want to buy the beer bottles just to collect the labels!


On the way back from the grocery store, Peko went on a quick car ride in the beautiful Gatineau park.

DAY 1   We went to Paris with our friend whom we'd met a long time ago because our dogs are the same rather rare in Russia breed (whippets). She's very nice and funny! Our first flight was to Riga, Latvia but we didn't stay there, only wandered about the airport for 4 hours and bought A LOT of local souvenirs, haha... Then we finally were on the way to Paris. Our hotel was very small but cozy. Though our room was placed right ON the stairs. At first, we walked up to the second floor but didn't find it. We were confused when we noticed a door in the middle of the stairway. It was our room! During the whole trip we were filled with adrenaline trying to get inside it! Our first day was chill. Our friend forgot her laptop charger and since she went there without getting leave she really needed to buy one. Ottawa - Downtown

When not travelling, I live in Gatineau, across the river from Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Here's a few pictures of the downtown core of Ottawa, by the Ottawa River. This is the the Alexandra Bridge (also called the Interprovincial Bridge) one of several bridges over the Ottawa River, which separates the cities of Ottawa (in the province of Ontario) and Gatineau (in the province of Québec). It is my favorite bridge : half of it is reserved to pedestrians, so people (and trolls!) can cross the bridge by foot and enjoy a fantastic view of the Ottawa River, the History Museum and the back of the Parliament buildings. The two following pictures show an area of Ottawa that is called "Byward market". It is both a highly touristic area with a lot of fancy restaurants, art galleries and boutiques, and a bunch of very expensive apartment buildings, and an area where one can find a lot of homeless people. Pinky in Hong Kong - End of June 2020

Picky have stayed in Hong Kong for weeks. He went out with me and traveled many places. Let me send you some of his photos. On 13th of June, Picky watched the sunset with me. You may also enjoy the sunset from the photos I sent you. On 23th of June, Picky went hiking with me and my friends. The mountain we went is the 2nd tall hill in Hong Kong. It is the tallest hill people can travel by the normal way. It's name is Lantau Peak (鳳凰山). I took many photos and videos for recording. I sent you some of them. On 26th of June, Picky and I go to Central general Post Office to join a small meet-up activity without meet-up card. I took some photos for Pinky. He also make a new friend "three hair" (the potato in the photo). I will send you a meet-up card of the meet-up activity held on 14th of June.
