Peko-chan and Supergirl on the Lac-des-Fées pathway (part 2) - April 25th 2020

At the corner of boulevard des Allumettières and boulevard St-Joseph (the Hull sector's main commercial road) :

A view of St-Joseph's boulevard :

The building where the host works, behind the boulevard St-Joseph :

A sign telling the story of the boulevard des Allumettières, which was built about 10 years ago to provide a direct link between the Hull and Aylmer sectors of the city of Gatineau) :

A home-made sign asking people to put up animal drawings in the neighbourhood so that kids could pretend to be on a wildlife safari when walking around the neighbourhood during COVID-19:

The girls really liked the deep red color of these dead leaves :

The sky took on beautiful colors on the way back :

The host found a fake flower on the ground and took it home with her :

We saw the friendly cat again on the way back, so we stopped to pet it some more! :

Pretty decorative lights in front of a house :

While we were waiting to cross the St-Raymond boulevard near the host's house, we saw a small shape run across the boulevard at high speed, almost getting hit by cars. It was one terrified little rabbit! It was dusk, so the picture doesn't show him very well, but one can see its fluffy white tail (these rabbits are called "coton-tail rabbits") :

The moon was up in the sky by the time we got back home :

The found flower sitting pretty in a little vase :

While out walking, the host also picked up an interesting piece of rubber that she found on the sidewalk. The host likes to pick up interesting pieces of trash and turn them into something pretty, and she thought that this rubber piece looked like a feather.

Here's the transformed piece of rubber! :
