Peko-chan takes another walk to the grocery store!
Since there's not much else to do during the outbreak of COVID-19, Peko again accompanied her host to the grocery store (yet another one - so her host could show her things that she had not seen before on the way).
A small skate park (a park to do skateboarding) :
A Catholic church that was converted into an indoors climbing gym :
An ambulance :
The line-up to get inside the grocery store (to minimize contamination risks, only a small number of people were allowed in at the same time) :
Shopping carts flipped on their side to make a corridor for people to get inside the grocery store :
Later, back at home, Peko spotted the wild cotton tail rabbit that lives in her host yard!
The snow was starting to melt very nicely :
The host realised that the had a portrait of Peko-chan on a wrapper that used to be on a package of chocolate lollipops that the bought in a small Japanese in downtown Ottawa a couple of years ago! The host kept the wrapper and pinned to a wall because she thought that it was pretty!
A cute picture of a robin standing on the neighbour's roof on the next day, a foggy and rainy April morning :
The next day, during the evening, Peko helped her host work on another project. The host woke up with a bit of a crazy idea in her mind one Sunday morning a few weeks ago: she thought that it would be fun to cover the kitchen ceiling in giant flowers. Peko helped her get a start on that project and they managed to complete one flower (out of 4). The core of each flower was made using a plastic rice bowl that came from a fast food restaurant at the mall.
