Ivan and Masha explore the touristic area of downtown Ottawa - August 1st 2020 (part 1)

On Saturday August 1st, 2020, their host took Ivan and Masha to visit Ottawa.

The Byward Market area :

Since they are on their honeymoon, Ivan and Masha threw a coin in this fountain and wished for a long and happy life together!

On Sussex Drive (it's the street on which the official prime minister's residence’s is located!) :

A nice display on the front window of a hat maker :

Standing inside the Reconciliation monument (in honor of Canadian Peacekeepers) :

The National Art Gallery :

Maman (mommy), by sculptor Louise Bourgeois, the giant spider that stands guard in front of the National Art Gallery. In Summer, it gets all warm from the sun!

The Ottawa Cathedral :

Electric scooters have just been introduced in Ottawa. People can rent them, and leave them wherever when they are done with them. We saw them everywhere!

Ivan and Masha had fun posing for photos on top of this 3D representation of downtown Ottawa :

Major's Hill Park :
