Pinky in Hong Kong - End of June 2020

Picky have stayed in Hong Kong for weeks. He went out with me and traveled many places. Let me send you some of his photos.

On 13th of June, Picky watched the sunset with me. You may also enjoy the sunset from the photos I sent you.

On 23th of June, Picky went hiking with me and my friends. The mountain we went is the 2nd tall hill in Hong Kong. It is the tallest hill people can travel by the normal way. It's name is Lantau Peak (鳳凰山). I took many photos and videos for recording. I sent you some of them.

On 26th of June, Picky and I go to Central general Post Office to join a small meet-up activity without meet-up card. I took some photos for Pinky. He also make a new friend "three hair" (the potato in the photo). I will send you a meet-up card of the meet-up activity held on 14th of June.

On 29th of June(yesterday), Picky and I went to Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office to post postcards. I took some photos for Picky on the way.

Ivan and Masha were able to join their host on several nice outings in August: One nice Friday evening, after work, the host decided to take Masha and Ivan on a pizza picnic at the park. First, they went to Pizza Pizza, a fast food chain, to buy and small pizza, a can of Coke and a small bag of chips, and then they headed to the Domaine Fairview to eat quietly in nature while reading a magazine. The next day, the host took Ivan and Masha to a free concert in a local park by a classical music group that plays Tango Nuevo (mainly music composed by Astor Piazzola).  Afterwards, they went and toured the outdoors Recycl'Art exhibition, by the side of Brewery Creek. They enjoyed looking at the various sculptures made by local artists using recycled materials: Details of the giant high heel shoe shown below, that was made using thousands of pop can tabs weaved together (apparently, the artist worked on that project for several years!). Ivan and Masha explore the touristic area of downtown Ottawa - August 1st 2020 (part 1)

On Saturday August 1st, 2020, their host took Ivan and Masha to visit Ottawa. The Byward Market area : Since they are on their honeymoon, Ivan and Masha threw a coin in this fountain and wished for a long and happy life together! On Sussex Drive (it's the street on which the official prime minister's residence’s is located!) : The American embassy : A nice display on the front window of a hat maker : Standing inside the Reconciliation monument (in honor of Canadian Peacekeepers) : The National Art Gallery : Maman (mommy), by sculptor Louise Bourgeois, the giant spider that stands guard in front of the National Art Gallery. In Summer, it gets all warm from the sun! The Ottawa Cathedral : Electric scooters have just been introduced in Ottawa. People can rent them, and leave them wherever when they are done with them. Ivan and Masha explore the touristic area of downtown Ottawa - August 1st 2020 (part 2)

Terry Fox was a young Canadian who lost his leg to cancer at age 18 and decided to run across Canada, starting from Newfoundland, to raise money for cancer research. He made it all the way to Ontario and ran the equivalent of a marathon (42 km) each day for 143 days (with just one leg - can you imagine the determination and the will it must have taken?) before he got too ill to continue.
