Ivan and Masha in Canada - Summer outings - August 2020

Ivan and Masha were able to join their host on several nice outings in August: One nice Friday evening, after work, the host decided to take Masha and Ivan on a pizza picnic at the park. First, they went to Pizza Pizza, a fast food chain, to buy and small pizza, a can of Coke and a small bag of chips, and then they headed to the Domaine Fairview to eat quietly in nature while reading a magazine. The next day, the host took Ivan and Masha to a free concert in a local park by a classical music group that plays Tango Nuevo (mainly music composed by Astor Piazzola).  Afterwards, they went and toured the outdoors Recycl'Art exhibition, by the side of Brewery Creek. They enjoyed looking at the various sculptures made by local artists using recycled materials: Details of the giant high heel shoe shown below, that was made using thousands of pop can tabs weaved together (apparently, the artist worked on that project for several years!).  In early August, the host took Masha and Ivan to the Domaine Fairview for a poetry reading, and afterwards, they decided to walk down to Leamy Lake to enjoy nature and the view. The back of the old house of the first owner of the Domaine Fairview, which now houses guest artists: An old farm building, which was probably used during the time that the Domaine Fairview was a reasearch farming site: On the way to Leamy Lake.
